Modelling requirements for functional development management
Formulating requirements necessitates close cooperation between all internal and external stakeholders – end clients, support, development and marketing. Requirements management processes are similar to those used in software development, at least in terms of how they are formulated. Concepts such as agility and service orientation lie at the heart of the process, and are linked to the later phases in the life cycle.
Successfully managing requirements necessitates close involvement from the various different businesses, based on a shared representation and mutual understanding of each party’s constraints in delivering a high-quality software application.
